PLANNING
Planning is where you go to establish a variety of details about your character once they are accepted. Here, you will find your vault thread as well as the plotting section. Vaults are, essentially, your characters inventory and how you would keep track of your powers, items, and objects in your character's current possession. Use plotting as you see fit! The site tracker can also be found here.

THE OREGONIAN
The Oregonian is the local news paper. While it has lost many readers in the recent years, with people turning to online sources for the news, it is still printed and read by many Oregonians. Occasionally, the paper does make note to the strange occurrences that are happening around the Portland area. One should take note to a few of the articles posted here if they are wanting to stay up to date on the latest “weird” happenings around the area.

NORTH PORTLAND
North Portland is a diverse mixture of residential, commercial, and industrial areas. Included in this diverse area is the Portland International Raceway, the University of Portland, and the massive cargo facilities of the Port of Portland. It is sometimes referred to as “NoPo”, and “the Fifth Quadrant”. North Portland is connected to the industrial area by the St. Johns Bridge. Additionally, the Max Yellow Line runs along Interstate Avenue which parallels I-5 and stops short of crossing the Columbia River.

NORTHEAST PORTLAND
Northeast Portland contains a diverse collection of neighborhoods, some containing the most expensive and oldest homes in Portland. While some contain the more working-class of the area. Because it is such a large area, it can be essentially divided ethnically, culturally and geographically into inner and outer sections. However, most of the demographics are shifting due to the changes the city is making. The northeast tends to be a hub of activity with the coliseum and convention center both residing here.

SOUTHEAST PORTLAND
Southeast Portland stretches from the warehouses along the Willamette river through the Hawthorne and Belmont districts out to the city of Gresham. The area has blue-collar roots and has evolved to encompass a wide mix of backgrounds. This area also features Mt. Tabor, a cinder cone volcano that has become one of Portland's more scenic and popular parks.

NORTHWEST PORTLAND
Northwest Portland includes the Pearl District, most of Old Town Chinatown, and various residential and industrial neighborhoods. A range of streets primarily in Northwest Portland were once named alphabetically. Many of the districts here are older in nature, with old warehouses being converted into lofts. However, that does not mean there are not newer developments taking over the old. The Portland street car connects in this neighborhood via the Pearl, and runs downtown.

SOUTHWEST PORTLAND
Also known as Downtown Portland, it lies in the Southwest section between the I-405 freeway loop and the Willamette River, and centered around Pioneer Courthouse Square. Downtown, and many other parts of Portland, have compact square blocks with narrow streets with a pedestrian-friendly combination. This area could be considered a hub of activity with many of Portland's recreational, cultural, educational, government, business, and retail resources are concentrated here.

OUTSIDE DOWNTOWN
While downtown is a hub of activity, there is more to do outside of the downtown area. Portland is a large, populous metropolitan area, and has many suburbs. The Oregon Zoo, Portland Japanese Gardens, and the International Test Rose Gardens are just a few locations outside of the city that are of particular interest for education, amusement, or both.
